A: There are many pros and cons to purchasing a fixer upper versus a home that is move-in ready. When you purchase a fixer upper, you are more likely able to get better pricing because the list price takes into consideration the fact that the home needs work. A fixer upper allows a buyer with imagination and vision to personalize a home with their own touches. The disadvantages of purchasing a fixer upper are that your financing options are going to be more limited and that you can expect a delay after moving into your new home after closing.<\/p>\n
