  5. Pet Bed<\/b>
    \n<\/span>Who doesn\u2019t like sleeping in their own bed?! \u00a0Pack your pet\u2019s bed in the car so that he can use it for any overnight hotel stays <\/span>    along the way<\/span><\/a>. \u00a0You\u2019ll also want to have it ready for him at his new home — this will help him acclimate more quickly to his new surroundings.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Food & Water<\/b>
    \n<\/b>Pack enough pet food in the car so there\u2019s plenty for the <\/span>    road trip<\/span><\/a> and for at least a few days after you move into your new home. \u00a0Don\u2019t be tempted to feed your pet some of your drive-thru burger or fries. \u00a0Any change in your pet\u2019s diet, particularly during a road trip, can cause digestive upset. \u00a0Further, bring along some bottled water for your pet. \u00a0It\u2019s important to keep him hydrated at all times.<\/span><\/li>\n
